Latin and Ballroom Dancing

Latin and ballroom dancing includes waltz, foxtrot, tango, cha cha, bachata, merengue, rumba,samba, swing, salsa, hustle and many others.  We do different ballroom dance lessons and Latin dance classes each month so that a student may take consecutive months and not repeat dances. BALLROOM BEGINNER
This class is for beginners who have some or no ballroom experience. Intermediate students are also welcome.   We focus on timing and partner connection.  Our goal is to make you comfortable and confident on the dance floor.

BALLROOM INTERMEDIATE
This class is for experienced dancers. You must know basic ballroom and receive permission from one of the instructors to take this class.  You will learn many more dance patterns and continue to develop your technique.

LATIN BEGINNER
This class is for beginners who have little or no experience. We do salsa, cha cha,rumba, merengue, samba, cumbia and other Latin dances. We focus on two or three of these dances each session. We do different dances each month so that a student can take consecutive months of Latin Basic and learn something new each month.

LATIN INTERMEDIATE
This class is for experienced dancers. You must know basic latin and receive permission from one of the instructors to take this class.

LATIN CARDIO/ZUMBA
Latin cardio is an hr of non-stop dancing. We go thru a number of different Latin dances every class. merengue, salsa, cha cha, rumba, bossa nova and cumbia are some of the dances we do in class. There is no partner work. Steps are explained as we dance. There is no stopping and going over steps. It usually takes a few classes before a student picks up everything. Great class for a dancer to practice his fundamentals.

We strongly recommend that you supplement your group classes with private lessons so that you progress more rapidly and do not develop any bad habits.
